The Power of Seventh Wave

A British Captain once told me that the 7th wave is larger than the first six.  Apparently this has been a legend among sailors for centuries.  Although I can’t find any studies to authenticate this story, it’s safe to say the ocean is indeed full of mysteries … and we may never know all the answers until we meet our creator.

Interesting Facts
Even when the ocean looks still, everything is in motion. Waves shape beaches, and beaches shape the waves. Winds blow from ever-shifting directions. Waves come in at different periods and angles. Waters rush toward the beach and back out, while sloshing sideways too. Some waves are born in storms thousands of kilometers away; others are whipped up by nearby winds.
